Der Accossato PZ021 ist ein 8-Kolben-Radialbremssattel, CNC-gefertigt für Buell-Motorräder der Baujahre 2003 bis 2010 und für EBR-Modelle, mit einem Lochabstand von 86,3 mm. Die acht Kolben laufen in zwei Durchmessern, 25 mm und 30 mm, und dieses Angebot trägt eine blau eloxierte Oberfläche. Eine Staubdichtung ist serienmäßig enthalten, und jeder Bremssattel benötigt vier Bremsbeläge unter dem Code AGPA290, die separat statt werkseitig montiert verkauft werden. Unser Fitment-Reiter listet vier konkrete Anwendungen für diesen Bremssattel: die Buell EBR 1190 RX, die EBR 1190 SX sowie die Hammerhead 1190 und 1190 SX, wobei diese Modelle derzeit nicht in unserer eigenen Garage-Liste geführt werden.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossato fertigt das PZ021-Gehäuse per CNC und setzt acht statt der im übrigen Radialsortiment üblichen vier oder zwei Kolben ein, aufgeteilt auf 25 mm und 30 mm Durchmesser, um die Klemmkraft gleichmäßig über vier Beläge je Bremssattel zu verteilen. Eine Staubdichtung ist serienmäßig verbaut und schützt die zusätzlichen Kolbenbohrungen an einem Bremssattel, der für harte Beanspruchung ausgelegt ist. Die bei diesem Angebot verwendete blaue Eloxierung ist eine von drei für dasselbe Gehäuse angebotenen Farben, neben Schwarz und Rot.
Vier Beläge je Bremssattel unter dem Code AGPA290
Während die meisten Radialbremssättel von Accossato zwei Beläge je Bremssattel aufnehmen, sind es beim PZ021 vier, eine direkte Folge der acht statt vier Kolben, und alle vier laufen unter dem einen Code AGPA290 statt unter zwei getrennten Artikelnummern. Da die Beläge separat verkauft werden, bedeutet die Bestellung ausreichender Sätze für beide Bremssättel an einem Vorderbau mit zwei Bremssätteln, die Menge AGPA290 vor der ersten Montage zu verdoppeln. Anders als bei einigen anderen Bremssätteln von Accossato wird der PZ021 nicht mit einer Wahl zwischen getrennten organischen, gesinterten oder keramischen Belagmischungen angeboten, sodass die Entscheidung bei den Belägen hier einfacher ausfällt als anderswo im Sortiment.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato hat den PZ021 für Buell-Motorräder der Baujahre 2003 bis 2010 und für EBR-Modelle entwickelt. Vier Anwendungen sind in unserem Fitment-Reiter dokumentiert, die Buell EBR 1190 RX und SX sowie die Hammerhead 1190 und 1190 SX, wobei keine der vier aktuell Teil unserer eigenen Garage-Liste ist. Der 86,3-mm-Lochabstand und die bereits verbaute Scheibendicke müssen trotzdem vor der Bestellung mit dem Motorrad abgeglichen werden, und die Montage sollte angesichts der sicherheitsrelevanten Natur der Bremsanlage einer qualifizierten Werkstatt überlassen werden.
Straßenzulassung
Accossato dokumentiert für den PZ021 keine ABE in Deutschland, sodass der Einbau dieses Bremssattels an einem für die Straße zugelassenen Buell- oder EBR-Modell vor der Rückkehr des Motorrads auf die Straße bei der zuständigen Behörde angemeldet werden muss; eine Prüfstelle kann vorab Auskunft über die benötigten Unterlagen geben. Da die Bremsanlage sicherheitsrelevant ist, sollten Montage und Entlüftung einer qualifizierten Werkstatt überlassen werden statt in Eigenregie.
