Inkrider ist keine lizenzierte Fahrer-Lackierung, sondern die eigene grafische Sprache des Skwal Cup: tintenartige Striche, die in Schwarz mit einem hellen Blau-Akzent über die Schale brechen, unter einer matten statt glänzenden Oberfläche gedruckt. Gebaut für Fahrer, die die aerodynamische Schale und die Zulassung darunter wollen, ohne die Rennhistorie eines anderen auf dem Kopf zu tragen.
Was bei Tempo wirklich spürbar wird
Im Regal wirkt der Spoiler am Heck wie ein Stylingdetail. Bei 110 km/h ohne Scheibe vor sich hört das auf, Dekoration zu sein: Der Unterschied zwischen einer Schale, die Luft sauber am Heck ablösen lässt, und einer, die sie ins Trudeln bringt, ist der Unterschied zwischen einem Helm, der ruhig auf dem Nacken sitzt, und einem, der bei jeder Böe zerrt und flattert. Shark hat das Heck des Skwal Cup per numerischer Strömungssimulation geformt und das Ergebnis im Windkanal bestätigt — dasselbe Verfahren wie bei den eigenen Streckenhelmen, keine eigens erfundene Straßen-Abkürzung.
Matt — und was das im Alltag bedeutet
Eine matte Schale zeigt feine Kratzer weniger deutlich als eine glänzende — ein fallengelassener Handschuh, ein unachtsames Abstellen auf einem Bordstein, ein Helmtaschen-Reißverschluss, der die Schale streift, all das zeichnet sich auf Glanz sichtbarer ab als auf Matt. Beim Reinigen verhält es sich umgekehrt: Glänzende Schalen wischen sich von Insekten und Straßenschmutz leichter sauber als matte, die feinen Schmutz etwas länger festhalten. Für einen Helm, der die meiste Zeit im Berufsverkehr verbringt, ist Inkriders matte Oberfläche die nachsichtigere der beiden Ausführungen, die Shark auf dieser Linie anbietet.
Die Norm hinter dem Zertifikat
- Achtzehn statt fünf Aufprallpunkte — die alte ECE 22.05 ließ den Großteil der Schale ungeprüft
- Mehrere Aufprallgeschwindigkeiten je Test, nicht eine einzige feste
- Ein Schrägaufprall-Test gegen einen rauen Amboss, der einen streifenden, drehenden Sturz simuliert statt eines sauberen senkrechten Falls
- Ein Wert für Rotationskräfte (Brain Injury Criterion) zusätzlich zur älteren linearen Verzögerungsmessung
- Visier, Pinlock-Einsatz und eine montierte Kommunikationseinheit während der Prüfung — keine nackte Schale
Das ist seit Januar 2024 Pflicht für neu homologierte EU-Helme. Die Zulassung des Skwal Cup trägt 2206, ohne FIM-Wettbewerbszusatz.
Belüftungslayout
Luft strömt durch einen einzelnen vorderen Einlass ein und verlässt die Schale über zwei hintere Auslässe — ein einfacher Weg statt eines verwinkelten Lüftungslabyrinths, der die Schalenoberfläche für die aerodynamische Arbeit des Spoilers frei hält.
Die Zahl, die erst in Stunde vier zählt, nicht in Minute eins
Niemand bemerkt das Gewicht eines Helms auf dem Parkplatz. Bemerkbar wird es nach vier Stunden im Sattel, wenn die Nackenmuskulatur, die die ganze Zeit eine statische Last gehalten hat, sich meldet. Sharks Angabe von 1.580 g (+/-50 g) für den Skwal Cup gilt für die kleinere Schale — S und M liegen nahe daran, während L bis XXL auf der größeren Schale für denselben Helm etwas schwerer ausfallen. Die meisten Integralhelme für die Straße in unserem eigenen Sortiment wiegen zwischen etwa 1.250 g und 1.800 g; dieser liegt eher in der Mitte als an einem der beiden Enden.
Innenkomfort
Das Futter ist herausnehmbar und maschinenwaschbar, aus einem antibakteriellen Material mit Wildlederoptik, gedacht für wiederholtes Tragen statt nur die ersten Ausfahrten. Es lässt sich in wenigen Minuten ohne Werkzeug entnehmen.
Windgeräusche, ehrlich betrachtet
Für diesen Helm gibt es keine Dezibel-Angabe, und wir erfinden keine. Eingebaut sind eine umlaufende Dichtung an der Visieröffnung und ein Kinnabweiser am Schalenrand, beide darauf ausgelegt, die Luftspalten zu schließen, die den Großteil des Fahrgeräuschs erzeugen. Wie leise sich eine Fahrt tatsächlich anfühlt, hängt zusätzlich von der Scheibe des Motorrads und der Sitzposition ab, weshalb eine einzelne Zahl nie die ganze Geschichte erzählen würde.
Größen über zwei Schalen
Sechs Größen decken XS bis XXL ab, verteilt auf die beiden Schalen des Skwal Cup statt über eine einzige Form gestreckt — die kleineren Größen bleiben kompakt, die größeren behalten eine angemessene Schalenabdeckung.

Am Laufen halten
Ein verkratztes oder zerschrammtes Visier pensioniert diesen Helm nicht: Shark listet Skwal-Cup-Visiere in derselben Ersatzteil-Kollektion wie Ridill 2, D-Skwal 3 und Skwal i3, sodass das Teil, das am schnellsten verschleißt, unkompliziert direkt beim Hersteller nachbestellt werden kann.

Inkrider ist die Wahl für Fahrer, die die aerodynamische Schale des Skwal Cup und die Straßenzulassung dahinter wollen, ohne den Namen eines Fahrers oder eine Nationalflagge zu tragen — ein Helm, der als eigenständiges Design gelesen wird, nicht als Tribut an die Saison eines anderen. Die Kombination aus Hellblau auf Schwarz bleibt erkennbar, ohne laut zu wirken, was besser zum täglichen Pendeln passt als eine vollfarbige Replica-Lackierung es meist tut. Es ist außerdem das Dekor, das am wenigsten Erklärungsbedarf auf dem Parkplatz auslöst, weil kein Fahrer und kein Rennen dahintersteht — nur die Schale und die Grafik darauf.
