Vier SHARP-Sterne — der einzige MT-Helm, der welche hat
🟢🟢 Vier von fünf SHARP-Sternen sind für einen Thermoplasthelm dieser Preisklasse ein bemerkenswertes Ergebnis — und der Track SV ist der einzige Helm der Marke, der überhaupt einen Eintrag hat.

Zum matten Schwarz
Matt streut das Licht, statt es zu spiegeln: Sie sehen die Silhouette, nicht die Rundung. Bei einem Helm, dessen Kontur von einem Adventure-Schirm bestimmt wird, ist das die konsequentere Wahl — die Linie zeichnet sich klarer ab, weil kein Spitzlicht sie überstrahlt. Auf einer Reiseenduro in gedeckten Farben ist Mattschwarz die Fassung, die nicht mit dem Rest konkurriert. 🔵 Der Nachteil steckt in der Pflege, und er ist bei einem Helm, der auch auf Schotter bewegt wird, größer als bei einem reinen Straßenhelm. Eine matte Oberfläche hat eine mikroskopisch raue Struktur, in der sich Staub, Lehm und Insektenreste festsetzen; wegpolieren ist keine Option, weil Polieren die Struktur glättet und dann eine glänzende Stelle hinterlässt. Einweichen, sanft abnehmen, keine Politur. 🔵 Zur Sichtbarkeit: Schwarz ist der Ton, den ein wartender Autofahrer bei bedecktem Himmel am spätesten vom Hintergrund trennt — und im Gelände ist ein dunkler Helm aus der Ferne schwer auszumachen. Bei Gruppenfahrten zählt das. Zur Einordnung: Technisch entspricht diese Fassung exakt den vier anderen.
Dual-Sport — ein Integralhelm mit Schirm
🟢 Interessant an der SHARP-Einstufung: Der Track SV wird dort als Integralhelm geführt, nicht als Adventure-Modell. Das passt zur Konstruktion — es ist ein geschlossener Helm, dem ein Schirm hinzugefügt wurde, kein Geländehelm mit Visier.
🔵 Der Schirm erzeugt bei hohem Tempo Auftrieb; das gilt für jeden Helm dieser Art.
HIRP, ECE 22.06 — und zwei verschiedene Gewichte
🔵🔵 Zum Gewicht nennen wir beide Zahlen statt der freundlicheren: MT gibt 1,5 kg an, SHARP maß 1,6 kg an seinem Prüfexemplar. Die Differenz von hundert Gramm ist keine Serienstreuung, sondern ein systematischer Unterschied.
🟢 Auch mit 1,6 kg liegt der Helm im normalen Bereich für einen Dual-Sport-Helm.
Die MT-ESP-Sonnenblende
🟢 Eine innenliegende Blende hat gegenüber einem getönten Visier zwei Vorteile: Sie geht nicht verloren, und sie lässt sich im Fahren bedienen. Beim MT-ESP genügt dafür ein einziger Schieber.
Sie ist getönt und für Tageslicht gedacht; bei Dämmerung gehört sie hoch.
Das HS-12-Visier und die Antibeschlagscheibe zum Nachkaufen
🔵🔵 Die auffälligste Ausstattungslücke: keine Antibeschlagscheibe im Karton. Der Helm ist dafür vorbereitet — passend sind Pinlock® DKS 623 und FogOff —, aber keine davon liegt bei.
🟢 Das Visier selbst, das HS-12, ist optisch klar und schlagfest.
ERS — das Emergency Release System
🟢 Ein Notfallsystem nützt nur, wenn Rettungskräfte es finden. Ein Aufkleber am Helm, der auf das ERS hinweist, ist deshalb keine Spielerei — er kostet nichts und kann Sekunden sparen.
Das System löst die seitlichen Polster, ohne Werkzeug.
Innenfutter, Passform und Interkom-Vorbereitung
🟢 Antibakteriell ist bei einem Helm, der täglich getragen wird, keine Werbezeile: Schweiß und Wärme sind ideale Bedingungen für Keime, und ein Futter, das dem entgegenwirkt, riecht nach einer Saison anders als eines ohne.
Dazu kommt eine UCS-Interkom-Vorbereitung; ein System liegt nicht bei.
Der mikrometrische Verschluss
🟢 Doppelte Verzahnung ist der technische Kern dieses Verschlusses: Bei einer einfachen Ratsche trägt jeweils ein Zahn die gesamte Last, hier sind es zwei. Das ist eine Haltbarkeitsfrage, keine Komfortfrage.
Der Verschluss ist stufenfein einstellbar.
Wo er im MT-Programm steht
🟢 Für wen dieser Helm gedacht ist: Fahrer auf Reiseenduros und Allroundern, die zwischen Landstraße und Schotterweg wechseln — und die eine belegte Sicherheitsbewertung wollen statt einer Materialbeschreibung.
🔵 Für reine Autobahnfahrten ist ein Helm ohne Schirm die ruhigere Wahl.
Wenn etwas verschleißt
🔵 Der EPS-Kern arbeitet genau einmal. Nach jedem echten Aufprall gehört der Helm ersetzt, auch wenn außen nichts zu sehen ist — vier SHARP-Sterne ändern daran nichts.
🟢 Bis dahin sind Visier, Pinlock-Scheibe, Schirm, Sonnenblende, Polster und Futter einzeln nachkaufbar.
