DescriptionThe whole story▼
On a naked bike the exhaust is half of what you see. Y13909400ITC is Termignoni's complete racing system for the MT-07: polished stainless headers that run in full view along the engine, a stainless collector and a titanium silencer closed with a carbon end cap.
Key Features
- Complete Termignoni racing system for the Yamaha MT-07, 2021 to 2026.
- Stainless steel headers and collector, titanium silencer with carbon end cap.
- Termignoni quote up to +2.8 hp and a saving of 3.4 kg.
- Also tested on the MT-07 with automatic shifting (Y-AMT).
- Works without a remap; removable dB killer and lambda plug included.
- For closed-circuit use only.
Pipework you can see
There is no fairing on the MT-07 to hide anything. The header pipes curve down the right-hand side of the CP2 twin and are the first thing you notice on the bike after the tank. Bare stainless gives them a lighter, mechanical look that changes the colour balance of the whole motorcycle. On the grey and blue bikes in Termignoni's own photos, it lifts the lower half of the machine.
Tested with the automatic gearbox
Yamaha now sell the MT-07 with Y-AMT, the automated manual transmission without a clutch lever. Termignoni state that they tested the Y139 on the automatic-shift version as well, so owners of that bike are not left guessing whether the system suits their machine.
What it changes and what it does not
The 689 cc twin keeps its 270-degree crank and its uneven, off-beat note; the exhaust just stops covering it up. Termignoni measure up to 2.8 hp more at peak and 3.4 kg less on the scale, and the system is designed to run on the standard calibration, so no dyno session is required. Expect a warning on the dashboard of Euro 5+ bikes once the catalyst is gone; the supplied lambda plug closes the sensor port.
The dB killer
It can be removed. Leave it in for circuits with a noise limit and take it out where the event allows. Termignoni plan to deliver from October 2026.
Fitment and Compatibility
Yamaha MT-07, model years 2021 to 2026, including the Y-AMT version. The YZF-R7 version of this reference has its own page.
Road Approval
None. This is a racing system without EC type approval or ABE; with it fitted, the MT-07 is not road legal.
