When every millisecond of braking distance defines the difference between a podium and a mid-pack finish, the Talos X75 SBK Racing Monoblock brake caliper is the component that transforms your front-end performance. Engineered exclusively for superbike racing and professional track applications, the X75.100.HD.R is the right-hand front caliper — built without compromise for riders who demand maximum stopping power, razor-sharp feedback, and absolute stability at the limit.
Key Features
- Monoblock body construction eliminates caliper flex, delivering a precision bite point and unwavering braking stability under the most extreme race conditions
- Asymmetric P4 piston layout — 2 x 32 mm and 2 x 36 mm — combines aggressive initial bite with strong, linear brake force development and perfect modulation mid-corner
- Titanium pistons with TIN (titanium nitride) coating provide superior heat resistance and optimised friction characteristics across sustained racing stints
- Hard anodised finish withstands extreme thermal cycling and constant pressure spikes inherent to SBK, SSP and endurance track use
- 644 g total weight — competitive mass for a monoblock racing caliper at this performance level
- Compatible with brake discs from 290 mm to 330 mm, covering the full range of superbike racing disc specifications
Monoblock Racing Construction
The one-piece monoblock body is the foundation of the X75's track dominance. Where conventional two-piece calipers introduce micro-flex under heavy braking, the X75's monoblock architecture maintains structural integrity from corner entry to trail-braking apex. The result is a brake lever feel that is direct, consistent and entirely predictable — exactly the feedback a racing rider needs to place late braking points lap after lap.
P4 32/36 Piston Layout
The asymmetric four-piston configuration is deliberately tuned for superbike use. The two leading 32 mm pistons deliver a strong, immediate bite the moment the lever is touched, while the two trailing 36 mm pistons build linear clamping force through the braking zone. Combined, this layout gives the rider high initial deceleration, strong progressive build-up through lean angle, and maximum thermal stability when brakes are subjected to repeated, extreme-load stops — corner after corner, session after session.
The titanium pistons are TIN-coated for an additional layer of heat resistance and to minimise frictional losses, ensuring the caliper performs consistently whether you are warming up or pushing through the final laps of a race.
Hard Anodised Surface Treatment
The X75 carries a hard anodised finish — the correct choice for a caliper that lives in the heat soak zone behind a superbike's front wheel. Hard anodising creates a surface significantly harder and more thermally stable than standard anodising, resisting the constant thermal cycling, brake dust abrasion and pressure extremes of SBK racing conditions. This finish is racing-oriented by design and is not intended for road or OEM brake system environments.
Important Notice — Not OEM Compatible
The Talos X75 is a purpose-built racing component. It is not a plug-and-play replacement for road-going or OEM brake systems. It is designed and intended exclusively for:
- Superbike chassis and racing frames
- Dedicated track and race bikes
- Professional performance brake system builds
- SBK, SSP and track day race machines
The X75 is not compatible with OEM brackets, standard production brake discs, or factory brake systems. It is not road-legal. Fitment requires appropriate racing-spec master cylinders, brake lines, caliper brackets and disc specifications. Always consult a qualified racing mechanic before installation.
Who the Talos X75 Is Built For
- Riders building or campaigning a genuine superbike race machine
- Competitors who need to move decisively beyond OEM braking performance
- Track riders who push to the absolute limit and need braking hardware that matches their pace
- Builders seeking uncompromising SBK-level engineering in every component
