DescriptionThe whole story▼
A deliberately mixed build: part of the manifold in stainless steel, part in titanium, with the same rectangular underseat silencers Spark developed for its championship kit. It is the cheapest way into the quiet end of the Panigale V4 range, and the material split is where the saving comes from.
Key Features
- 3/4 underseat kit combining a stainless steel and titanium manifold.
- Twin rectangular silencers — the same case Spark uses on the Go Eleven kit.
- It costs less than the all-titanium GDU8838T.
- Works with the original number plate holder and standard or closed racing fairings.
- Panigale V4, V4 S, V4 R and Streetfighter V4.
- Hand-built in Mantova, Italy.
Two Metals, One System
Mixing materials in an exhaust is not a compromise for its own sake — it is a way of spending money where it does work. Titanium buys the most in the sections that are hottest and most visible; stainless steel is entirely adequate in the runs that sit hidden and are more likely to catch a stone or a paddock stand. Spark splits this manifold on that logic rather than by cost alone.
The result weighs more than the all-titanium version and less than an all-stainless one, at a price between the two. For a bike that does track days rather than championships, that is often exactly the right place to land.
The Silencers Are the Point
Whatever the manifold is made of, the rectangular cases are the reason to look at this kit. They exist because the space under a Panigale V4's tail is a flattened wedge rather than a cylinder, and a rectangular case fills it with more absorption material than a round one can. More absorption means fewer decibels, which is why Spark's rectangular kits sit at the quiet end of its V4 range.
What You Keep
Like every 3/4 kit in Spark's V4 range, this one leaves the primary headers on the engine. That is deliberate and it is the reason the kit can be fitted in an evening: the headers on a Panigale V4 sit behind the fairing and the front wheel, and removing them turns a straightforward job into a full strip-down.
You also keep the standard lambda sensor positions, so nothing has to be plugged or simulated, and the bike remains drivable on the standard map — although Spark recommends remapping, and on a V4 that recommendation is worth taking seriously. The engine makes its power in the last third of the rev range, and that is exactly where a freer exhaust changes what the fuelling should be doing.
Installation
- ECU mapping is recommended.
- Compatible with the original fairings and with closed fairings for racing use.
- Not compatible with passenger footboards.
Fitment & Compatibility
Ducati Panigale V4, V4 S, V4 R (2018-2024) and the Streetfighter V4. Spark publishes no separate weight or decibel figure for this configuration — the all-titanium GDU8838T with the same silencers is quoted at 4.9 kg and 102 dB, and this kit will sit close to that on sound and slightly above it on weight. Ask us if you need the exact figures before ordering.
Road Approval
None. No EC certificate and no catalytic converter anywhere in the kit.
