DescriptionThe whole story▼
Spark's current-generation compliance silencer, on its own. The Force Evo in titanium, 400 mm, sized for the D.60 STEP2 system — the case with the rib that converges into the carbon end cap, and the one the factory runs in the Endurance World Championship.
Key Features
- Force Evo silencer group, titanium, 400 mm, for the Yamaha R1 and R1M.
- For Spark's D.60 STEP2 manifold.
- Within the 102 dB limit of the French championship and the Endurance World Championship.
- Titanium case with a rib running into the lines of the carbon end cap.
- The silencer fitted to Spark's EWC full titanium system.
- Takes the G9999 dB killer as an option.
Force or Force Evo
Both clear the same limit, so this is not a choice about legality. The Force is Spark's long-running case: cylindrical, plain, with a straightforward mounting interface. The Force Evo is the newer design — a ribbed titanium sleeve closed by a carbon end cap, with the rib carried into the end cap's lines.
Around fifty euros separates them at this length. What that buys is the appearance of the silencer Spark puts on its endurance racing bikes rather than the one it has sold for years, on a bike where the silencer is the only part of the exhaust anyone sees.
What a Silencer Group Contains
Spark sells these as groups rather than as bare cases: the silencer together with the parts needed to hang it on the connecting pipe. That matters when you are replacing a damaged silencer rather than building a system, because the mounting hardware is what usually gets bent in the crash that killed the silencer.
A dB killer is not part of it. Spark's stated aim for this range is to meet the limits without one, and the Force Evo does at 102 dB. If you need to go lower, the G9999 insert fits the Force Evo and Konix Evo cases.
Fitment & Compatibility
Yamaha R1 and R1M, 2015 through 2025, on Spark's D.60 manifolds GYA8878 in stainless or GYA8858 in titanium. Complete as a kit it is GYA8859T, which additionally requires the SGATT844 bracket. The plain Force group with a dB killer for this diameter is G00SI38T.
Road Approval
None. No EC certificate, and the D.60 manifold it belongs to removes the catalytic converter. Closed circuits only.
