DescriptionThe whole story▼
Some Sidi Vertigo boots close with the Tecno VR System instead of Tecno II. For those boots, this is the original VR unit, catalogued at position 44. It is the part to order when the VR closure has cracked, jams or stopped holding tension.
Key Features
- Original Tecno VR closure system
- Made for the Sidi Vertigo
- Sidi position no. 44
- Hard plastic housing
- Single version for every size
About the VR Closure
Like other Sidi Tecno closures, the VR system tightens the upper around the lower leg from one control point and releases it quickly when you take the boot off. A damaged unit leaves the shaft loose, which costs both comfort and protection on the bike.
Make Sure It Is VR
Because the Vertigo was offered with two closure types, the first step is to check which one is on your boot. The VR unit has its own part number and position in the Sidi drawing; the Tecno II alternative is listed separately.
