DescriptionThe whole story▼
The heel cup wraps around the back of the foot at the base of the boot. It holds the heel in position and protects it from knocks and from contact with the bike. Sidi lists this PU heel cup as position 101; it is the moulded hard plastic shell for that area and can be replaced when it has been cracked or ground down.
Key Features
- Genuine Sidi part no. 52228
- PU heel cup
- Hard plastic
- One version
- Position 101 on the Sidi chart
Holding the Heel in Place
A firm heel cup keeps the foot from sliding around inside the boot and gives the rear of the foot a protective shell. Once it is broken, the heel loses some of that guidance and the boot can feel less stable.
Identifying the Right Boot
The part name does not mention boot models. Use the Sidi spare-parts chart for your boot and look for position 101 to confirm the heel cup is the right one.
What You Should Know
There is no size or colour option in the list. Heel cups are built into the lower part of the boot, so Sidi recommends replacement by a Sidi dealer or according to the Sidi chart.
