In the MX03 range Sidi places the long strap between the short and the XL version. This position no. 467 band is made, as Sidi states, of 90% hard plastic and 10% metal, and it serves closures that wrap around more of the shaft than the short one. Replace it when it has snapped, kinked or lost the grip of its teeth in the buckle.

When to Replace
A strap that bends permanently or has a split near its anchor will not pull the boot evenly closed. If the buckle slips back after you close it, worn teeth on the strap are a likely cause. Fitting a fresh strap restores the click and the hold you are used to, without touching the rest of the closure.
Finding the Right Length
The long strap is not the longest one; Sidi offers an XL above it and a short strap below. Compare the old strap with the new one before fitting, or check the Sidi chart for your boot, to make sure each position gets the right length.
What You Should Know
The MX03 name identifies the system, not the boot model, so confirm on the Sidi spare-parts chart that your boot uses MX03. Choose Black or White to match the existing hardware. Sidi recommends replacement following its chart or by a Sidi dealer.
