DescriptionThe whole story▼
Brown upper, off-white sole, black laces: in Brown/White the Sidi Lynx Climadome looks more like something from a lifestyle store than a piece of protective gear. Underneath that look is a certified motorcycle shoe with a Climadome membrane, rated by Sidi as waterproof and breathable, so you can ride to work through spring drizzle and simply keep the pair on all day.
For riders who want their kit to blend into a casual wardrobe, this is the warmer, more relaxed alternative to an all-black shoe.

Materials and Build
Sidi makes the upper from 100% microfiber and lines it with 100% polyester. Microfiber is a synthetic, so although the brown surface may remind you of a leather work boot, there is no leather in this shoe. The sole blends 95% rubber with 5% polyamide, and the panels around the critical impact areas are reinforced for durability. Production is in China.
Closure and Fit
The laces travel a long way up the front. Pulled tight, they hold the heel in place, which according to Sidi limits slipping of the foot inside the shoe if you come off. The elongated, anatomical shape follows the foot closely and brings extra stability around the ankle region. In this colour, sizes run from EU 36 to EU 50 for women and men alike. Sidi publishes no width rating or size advice.
Impact Protection
Three things provide the safety in this sneaker. Fortex, a Sidi patent, is a structure meant to cope with crash forces while keeping the foot mobile. CE-certified protectors come on top of that. Reinforcement panels cover the vulnerable areas against knocks and abrasion. Taken together, the shoe meets EN 13634:2017. The manufacturer does not break that rating down into levels, so neither do we.
Rain and Seasons
Climadome is Sidi's own membrane. The manufacturer states that it keeps feet dry while letting heat and moisture escape, and markets the Lynx Climadome as a shoe for riding through the seasons. For a brown-and-white pair that will often be worn away from the bike, this is useful: a sudden shower on the way home need not mean wet socks, as long as water is prevented from running in over the top.
Daily Use
Underneath, the Concrecto sole is shaped to grip pegs and controls, yet bends like a regular casual shoe when you walk. Sidi sees the Lynx Climadome as a companion for commuting, exploring the city and casual wear; it is not designed as a racing or off-road product.
What You Should Know
As a high-top shoe, it leaves the shin uncovered and offers less coverage than a touring or sport boot. Its waterproofing relies on the membrane, so water entering from above the collar is not stopped; wear rain trousers over the shoe. Sidi states neither a weight for this model nor performance levels for its CE rating. The off-white sole is the part most likely to show wear and dirt.
Colour
The brown is a medium, slightly reddish tone, close to milk chocolate, with tan contrast stitching that outlines every panel. Black laces, a black pull loop at the heel and a dark collar lining add definition, and the chunky cupsole is a creamy off-white rather than bright white. It pairs naturally with denim, olive or navy and looks at home in a café as much as in a bike park. The light sole picks up road grime quickly, so regular cleaning keeps it fresh. Brown is not a high-visibility colour, and Sidi does not mention reflective details.
