DescriptionThe whole story▼
The heel of a racing boot gets hit from behind by the road and from below by the footpeg. On the Vortice and the ST, Sidi protects it with a plastic heel cup, position 92 in the parts chart. This original replacement comes in the black and red colourway.
Key Features
- Original heel cup for Vortice and ST
- Black/Red colourway
- Plastic
- Sidi position no. 92
- One version for all sizes
Role of the Heel Cup
A rigid cup around the heel holds the foot in position inside the boot and spreads impacts to the back of the foot. Sidi's website calls it a shock-absorbing heel cup on the Vortice. Once it is cracked or worn through, the heel loses part of that shielding.
Colour Note
The Sidi article name specifies black and red. The list's colour field shows only black; this listing follows the name, which is the more specific source. Both the Vortice and the ST take the identical cup, so one part covers either boot.
