DescriptionThe whole story▼
At 118 grams, according to Sidi, the Gravix sits light on the face, and in Red/Black it brings a strong splash of colour to the start gate. This is the clear-lens version of the model: a category 0 lens with full light transmission, made for overcast motos, forest tracks and the evening sessions when shadows grow long.
Weight is the headline, but the Gravix is about more than that. Sidi pairs the light build with an anti-intrusion frame, a foam made of two layers and outriggers you can adjust to your helmet.
Key Features
- 118 grams as stated by the manufacturer

- Outriggers adjust to the helmet's eye port
- Inner silicone coating on the elastic strap
- Dual-layer foam that handles sweat
- Replaceable components, one size for all riders
Weight and Materials
Light goggles matter more than most riders expect: any extra mass at the front of the helmet pulls on the strap over every bump. Sidi keeps the Gravix at 118 grams while still describing it as durable. The material list explains how. Thermoplastic polyurethane makes up 45 percent, polycarbonate 25 percent and PES 15 percent, with 12 percent PU foam and a remaining 3 percent of silicone and other materials. Manufacturing takes place in China.
Strap and Outriggers
Riders with different helmets know the problem: a goggle that fits one shell perfectly gapes on another. On the Gravix the outriggers can be adjusted so the frame lines up with your helmet's opening. Sidi says this improves helmet compatibility, distributes pressure evenly and keeps strap tension balanced left and right. The elastic strap is lined with silicone, which holds it on the shell when the bike lands from a jump or the rear tyre finds drive out of a corner.
Clear Lens for Dull Days
With a clear lens rated category 0, the Gravix passes through as much light as possible; Sidi's lens chart puts this class at 80 to 100 percent visible light transmission. On a cloudy race day that keeps holes, roots and kickers readable. A scratch-resistant treatment helps the lens survive roost and cleaning, and an anti-fog coating reduces the misting that tends to start when you stop on the line or sweat on a slow, technical section.
Frame Protection
Sidi calls the frame anti-intrusion: its shape is meant to stop dirt and debris from finding a way in around the lens. The lens itself sits in what the manufacturer describes as a reinforced construction to cope with impacts. Neither statement is tied to a norm, and the price list shows no CE marking for this goggle.
Comfort Against the Face
Two foam layers form the contact surface. Sidi aims them at a stable fit and at moisture management, so sweat is absorbed before it runs into your eyes. Because the Gravix is sold in one size, this foam also takes up the small differences between faces.
What You Should Know
This goggle is specified for low light. On a bright, sunny track the clear lens lets through so much light that squinting becomes likely; Sidi's range lists darker lens categories for those conditions. There is no stated safety standard. Information about tear-offs or roll-offs, use with glasses underneath and venting is missing from the manufacturer's data, so we do not promise any of it. Which components can be bought as spares is not specified either.
Colour
The frame is a strong signal red with a black lower section around the nose. A red strap with white SIDI lettering continues the look, held by black clips. Red is easy to spot on a busy track and goes particularly well with red, black or white helmets. Grime will show on the bright frame after a muddy moto, while the black nose section keeps the area that collects the most dirt looking tidier.
