DescriptionThe whole story▼
A visor that wobbles on its pivots or pops off when you flick it up usually points to worn fixings rather than a bad visor. For the OXO, Shark lists those fixings as VIZOR FIXING, in French FIXATION D'ECRAN, part FX8723P, black, at 35.09 EUR.
Key Features
- Genuine Shark part FX8723P
- Visor fixing set for the OXO
- Black, the only listed version
- Listed weight 54 g
- Customs tariff number 3926909790
Care
Grit in the fixings is what wears them. Rinse the area with lukewarm water after dusty or salty rides, dry it and leave it free of grease or oil, which only holds more dirt. Shark's price list files FX8723P under the OXO, so that is the only helmet we show it for.
Fitting
Remove the visor, then take off the old fixings one side at a time so you always have the other side to copy. Seat the new fixing, refit the visor and open and close it through its full range. It should move evenly on both sides and stay put in each position.
