Finish codes
KMA is the only code, and Shark gives it no colour name. The supplier writes FLAPS Matt, the French line VOLETS Mat. The flaps in BLK are VE03250 at 21.05 euros; decor versions VE03252 to VE03254 cost 56.70 euros; replica and signature flaps, such as VE03259 (Fernandez Signature) or VE03263 (Zarco Signature), are more again. Read the code off the old flap to be sure.
Signs it needs replacing
Flaps move every time air pressure changes at speed, and they take knocks when the helmet is set down on its back. Cracked hinges, a flap that no longer returns, or one lost on the road are the usual reasons for a new set. If the flaps rattle but look intact, the dampers VE03280P may be the cheaper fix. Shark ties the part to the Aeron GP only through its VE03 number series.
