Tourers who ride a large-shell OXO all season and head to a circuit once or twice a year often want a second visor just for those days. Iridium Blue, SKU VZ39031PBLUTU under part number VZ39031P, is one such visor: a cool blue mirror that Shark reserves for the track.

About this tint
Shark's Range Book names this finish Iridium Blue. Like every Iridium mirror, it reflects some of the light away at the outer surface, which is useful where a low sun or a sun-bleached track surface creates glare. Seen from outside, the visor shows a cool blue reflection and very little of the rider behind it.
Blue is usually chosen to pick up a blue helmet graphic or bike colour. Shark offers the same mirror in four more colours under VZ39031P and states nothing about one colour dimming more than another, so the colour is about appearance.
Road or track
Iridium Blue carries Shark's racing use only rating, Range Book 2027 page 38. Shark does not approve it for road riding.
The everyday visor on a touring OXO stays what it is. For road riding, Shark approves the clear VZ39016P for all users and the TE50 light tinted VZ39016P for daytime use. The blue mirror waits in the helmet bag until the first session of the track day.
Fitting
A visor that only comes out once or twice a season should be quick to change, and Shark's OXO mount is: tool-free removal, one central lock. The Pinlock housing is in the visor itself, so a lens in part number VZ39005P can be moved over from your everyday visor. Its tension is adjustable.
Which shell do I have
VZ39031P suits the large OXO shell only. The small-shell counterpart in the same blue mirror is VZ39030P, SKU VZ39030PBLUTU. The tint is shared; the size is not, and the two do not swap.
Owners of big OXO sizes typically sit on the large shell, but the size allocation per shell is not part of our product data. Compare the number on your current visor first.
Ordering by part number
SKU VZ39031PBLUTU combines part number VZ39031P with colour code BLU. EAN 3664836892627, customs code 3926906000. Buying the blue mirror together with a road visor under VZ39016P keeps both parts on one order.
Care
A spare visor spends most of its life in storage, so the risk is scuffing rather than wear. Keep it in a soft cloth bag, away from keys or tools in the same compartment. Clean after each use with lukewarm water, never with solvents or glass cleaner, and let dried insects soak before wiping them off the blue coating.
