Ordering by part number
With this many chin bars for one helmet, the part number is the only safe way to order. Look for it in the helmet's paperwork or ask the dealer who sold the OXO. Shark names the OXO for FX8706P in the helmet model column of its price list, and it names no other helmet.
Which shell do I have
FX8706P belongs on the small shell. The size of the shell, not the helmet size, is what counts, and it is stated on the label beneath the comfort liner. The large-shell chin bar in BUO and KUR has its own number, FX8716P.
Finish codes
Shark gives BUO and KUR without a colour name, so we give none either. Pick the code printed on your helmet. The matt chin bar that sits next to this one in the list, FX8707P, uses the codes AUK and KUB and costs 110.87 EUR.
How it goes on
The chin bar holds the lock that keeps the front of the OXO closed. Fit it carefully, or have a Shark dealer do it, using sound screws; the fixing screw set is a separate article, FX8725P. Close it and pull at the front afterwards. Both sides must hold.
