Cheek pads for the Speed-R 2 Louis Edition come in two thicknesses, 15 mm and 20 mm, and the thickness is what decides how firmly the helmet holds your face. IN45205P is Shark's CHEEKS for this edition, black, at the same price in either thickness.

Fitting
Unfasten each old pad at the front and slide it out towards the chin opening. Put the new pad in back edge first, tucking it under the neck roll, then press the front fastener home. With both sides fitted, put the helmet on and check it sits level and does not press on one cheek more than the other.
Care
Take the pads out after long or sweaty rides and let them air. When they need washing, use lukewarm water and a mild soap by hand, press the water out in a towel and leave them to dry fully before refitting.

When to replace it
If the helmet has started to move when you shake your head, or the pads stay dented after you press them, the foam has lost its spring. The thicker 20 mm pad is the option when the original fit has become loose; 15 mm gives more room if the current pads press too hard.
