DescriptionThe whole story▼
On a cold morning the first thing to go is the view: warm breath rises from the mouth and settles on the inside of the visor. A breath guard sits below the nose and turns that air downwards, away from the visor. AC8100P is Shark's black breath guard for the Spartan RS.

Which helmets this fits
The Spartan RS. Shark's price list names the helmet directly in its model column, where the entry reads SPARTAN RS FIBRE, so the assignment does not rest on guesswork from part numbers. No other helmet is listed for this number. If your helmet is a different model, this breath guard is not documented for it.
Fitting
The breath guard goes in the chin area of the helmet, in the place of the old one or of the empty mount if yours was lost. Shark's list does not describe the attachment, so look at how the old guard is held before pulling it out, and put the new one in the same way. Check afterwards that it does not touch your nose or lips when the helmet is on and the visor closed.
Care
Breath guards collect moisture on every ride. Take it out now and then, rinse it in lukewarm water with a little mild soap and let it dry at room temperature, not on a heater. Solvents and strong cleaners have no place here. Because it is a wear part, replacing it costs less than living with a guard that no longer holds its shape.
Before you order
Check the part number on the old guard if it is still there, or the helmet model on its label. AC8100P comes in a single version, black and one size, so there is no variant to choose.
