Ducati rebuilt the Panigale V2 from the ground up for 2025. The new 890 cc twin is lighter and more compact than the old 955, and a lighter bike makes the contact points on the tank more important, not less. The Race Seats Wrap Tank Grip Pads EVO turn the tank top of the 2025 and 2026 V2 into a defined surface for your legs, so you can steer with the body and keep a soft touch on the bars. Riding a Lighter Twin
A lighter motorcycle reacts faster to every input, including the ones you do not mean to give. If your body slides forward under braking and you brace with the arms, the 890 picks that up through the steering. With a grip pad holding your knees in place, the bike gets only the inputs you choose: a clear push on the bar to turn in, weight shifted with the hips, and relaxed hands through the corner.
The new twin also likes to be kept in its mid-range, which means a lot of short, sharp accelerations between corners. Every time the throttle opens, your body is pushed back. A firm hold with the legs stops you from pulling on the bars to stay forward, and that keeps the front light and accurate on the exit.
Design That Matches the New Panigale
The 2025 V2 borrows its styling closely from the current Panigale V4, with clean surfaces and sharp edges. Race Seats followed that idea with a wrap pad made from one continuous piece. There is no seam or split down the middle, only one black area once the backing film is removed. On a red V2 it looks like part of the original design; on a custom paint scheme it frames the tank neatly.
Fitment and Compatibility
For the Ducati Panigale V2 890 from model year 2025, including 2026. The V2 S uses the same tank and differs only in suspension and brakes, so the pad fits both versions. The tank top of the new V2 shares its cut with the 2025 Panigale V4, which is why the photos show the V4 pad. The older Panigale V2 955 (2020 to 2024) has a different tank and needs its own version.
Fit the pad on a clean, degreased and fully dry tank at room temperature. Place it loosely first to check the position, remove the backing film, then press it down from the middle towards the edges.
Road Approval
No approval is needed. The pad is an accessory for ergonomics and appearance and leaves every type-approved component of the motorcycle unchanged. It is suitable for both road and track use.
