DescriptionThe whole story▼
Long days in the saddle mean more time riding through grit, spray and road debris — and a properly fitted rear mudguard keeps that mess off you, your pillion and your luggage. This Puig rear fender is engineered specifically for the KTM 1290 Super Adventure R, bolting on cleanly so it never interferes with your riding position or day-to-day comfort.
Key Features
- Purpose-built fitment for the KTM 1290 Super Adventure R (2017–2020), no compromise on comfort or ergonomics
- Acts as an effective rear splash guard and anti-splash guard, keeping water, mud and stones off the rider, pillion and gear
- Tough ABS construction resists shocks and impacts on both road and adventure terrain
- UV-resistant finish holds its look mile after mile without fading
- TÜV-approved and ABE homologated (KBA 31060 MUD) for total peace of mind
- Quick, straightforward installation with supplied fitting kit and instructions
Comfort-Focused Design
Puig designed this rear mudguard extension with the long-distance adventure rider in mind. By keeping spray and debris away from your legs, boots and luggage, it lets you stay focused and comfortable through wet roads, gravel tracks and everything in between — exactly what you want from a rear tyre hugger on a bike built for big miles.
Durable, Weatherproof Build
Made from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), this rear fender extender shrugs off knocks and impacts while its UV-resistant finish prevents the fading and brittleness that cheaper plastics suffer from after prolonged sun exposure. It's a genuine rear mudguard, not just a mud flap — built to work as hard as your KTM does.
Certified Quality
This part meets the quality standards of the German TÜV certification and carries ABE homologation KBA 31060 MUD, so you can fit it with confidence. As always, we recommend checking the ABE documentation carefully and confirming compatibility with any other accessories already fitted to your bike.
