Build Quality and Protection
This rear splash guard is moulded from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), a tough, impact-resistant plastic that shrugs off stone chips, grit and road spray far better than the factory fender alone. As a functional rear fender extension, it extends coverage of the original mudguard, helping shield the shock absorber, chain, and electrical components from the anti-splash guard effect it provides — a small addition that meaningfully reduces long-term wear and corrosion risk from road contamination.
Installation Notes
The extension mounts over the original fender and is secured using the screws supplied by Puig. Please note that drilling holes into the original fender is required for fitment.
