DescriptionThe whole story▼
Give your F850GS a proper undertail makeover with the Puig rear fender, a sharply styled rear mudguard extension that closes off the empty space beneath the tail unit while keeping road spray, grit and stone chips off your shock, wiring and swingarm. Finished in a choice of flat black or carbon look, it brings a genuine aftermarket edge to the stock silhouette rather than just bolting on a generic tyre hugger.
Key Features
- Acts as a rear splash guard and mud flap, cutting down muck thrown up from the rear tyre
- Moulded in durable ABS for real-world resistance to impacts and stone strikes
- UV-stabilised finish resists fading and cracking from long-term sun exposure
- Avant-garde Puig styling designed specifically around the F850GS bodywork, not a generic rear fender extender
- TÜV-tested quality standard and ABE homologated for road legality
- Straightforward install with supplied fitting kit and instructions
Build Quality and Finish
Puig manufactures this rear mudguard extension from ABS plastic chosen for its balance of light weight and toughness, so it shrugs off the knocks and debris that would crack a lesser tyre hugger. Beyond the functional side, Puig has clearly put design first: the fender lines echo the F850GS's own bodywork rather than looking like a bolted-on afterthought, and the flat black or carbon look finish options let you match your bike's existing style.
Protection Where It Matters
As a rear hugger and anti-splash guard, this fender shields the shock absorber, wiring loom and underside of the tail from thrown-up water, mud and small stones - useful whether you're commuting through wet weather or covering gravel tracks on your GS. Always check how it sits alongside any other accessories already fitted to avoid clashes.
