The result sits naturally on the Svartpilen 401's minimalist front end, reinforcing the motorcycle's retro-vintage identity rather than fighting against it.
For riders who prefer a universal solution, Puig also offers a version of the front plate with a universal mounting kit, suitable for retro bikes without model-specific hardware. However, for the Svartpilen 401, a dedicated mounting kit is available and is the recommended choice for the cleanest possible finish.
Road Use and Approval
Fitting aftermarket bodywork always raises the question of legality. The Puig front plate removes that uncertainty entirely. The ABE KBA 38007 WS22 certificate is a type-approval granted by Germany's Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt, confirming the part meets the standards required for use on public roads.
