Engineered in Italy to the exacting standards that have made OZ a fixture in World Superbike paddocks, these aluminium wheels are built specifically for the Yamaha YZF-R6 (2003–2016) and are measurably lighter than the standard Piega — translating directly into sharper turn-in, faster direction changes and greater confidence at speed.

The five-spoke aluminium architecture is the result of OZ's SBK Racing department's ongoing development work — the same division that supplies wheels to factory-supported teams. Reduced rotational inertia means the engine's power reaches the tarmac more efficiently, braking distances tighten and the front end communicates with a clarity that stock cast wheels simply cannot match.
Finish and Anodising
Both colour options — Techno Black and Techno Gold — are achieved through a hard anodising process that bonds to the aluminium at a molecular level rather than sitting on the surface like paint. The result is a finish that resists stone chips, brake dust and the repeated heat cycles that destroy lesser surface treatments. Each shade carries its own visual signature: Techno Black is purposeful and understated, while Techno Gold references OZ's long racing heritage without sacrificing the wheel's aggressive character.
Fitment and Compatibility
This wheel set is designed as a direct-fit replacement for the Yamaha YZF-R6 across all model years from 2003 to 2016. The set includes all hardware required for installation. Note that the original Yamaha rear sprocket carrier is not compatible — the replacement carrier included in this set must be used. No modification to the frame or swingarm is required.
