The finish options — gloss black anodised, techno black anodised and techno gold anodised — give the Piega a presence that complements the CBR 1000 RR's aggressive bodywork. Anodising is not merely cosmetic: the process hardens the aluminium surface, improving resistance to corrosion, abrasion and the thermal cycling that comes with sustained hard riding. Please note that the standard Honda rear sprocket is not compatible with the OZ sprocket carrier supplied; a suitable aftermarket rear sprocket must be fitted.
