Forged Construction, Racing Pedigree
The GP-8R is not a cast wheel dressed up in racing livery. OZ forges the aluminium under high pressure to produce a wheel that is denser, stiffer, and more consistent grain-to-grain than any casting process can achieve. Paired with dedicated Ergal 7075 — a high-strength aluminium alloy — bushings and spacers, the entire wheel assembly is built to tolerances that prevent flex and vibration at the hub interface, giving you a cleaner signal from the tyre throughout the corner.
Performance on Road and Track
Reducing rotating unsprung mass has a disproportionately large effect on how a motorcycle feels to ride. Lighter wheels need less force to change direction, so the ZX-10 R responds more readily to steering inputs, settles faster under braking, and drives out of corners with less demand on the suspension. Five Anodised Finishes
Each colour variant of the GP-8R is anodised rather than painted, so the surface treatment penetrates the aluminium rather than sitting on top of it. The finish resists chipping, brake dust, and road chemicals far better than conventional paint, and it maintains its appearance through hard use. The five available colours allow you to match factory Kawasaki colour schemes, contrast them deliberately, or adopt a full race-inspired monochrome.
