Every gram saved at the rim translates directly into sharper turn-in, more faithful mid-corner feedback and a front end that communicates with the rider rather than masking what the tyre is doing.

Construction and Materials
OZ's forging process aligns the grain structure of the aluminium, producing a wheel that is simultaneously lighter and stronger than a cast equivalent. The GP-8R profile is not a styling exercise — the spoke geometry is engineered to manage the lateral and radial loads generated by a 200-horsepower superbike in anger. Each wheel leaves the factory with surfaces finished to the exact anodised specification you select, and the quality of that finish is immediately apparent when the wheel is in your hands.
The included Ergal 7075 bushes and spacers are machined to the RSV4's original axle and bearing dimensions. Ergal 7075 is the same aluminium alloy used in aerospace and Formula 1 components — high tensile strength, minimal mass, zero corrosion concern. Every interface between wheel and chassis is accounted for from the outset, so there is no reliance on generic adaptors or aftermarket shims.
On Road and on Track
Reducing rotating mass at the wheel has a disproportionate effect on how a motorcycle feels compared with saving the same weight elsewhere on the machine.
