DescriptionThe whole story▼
The OZ Cattiva is the lightest rear wheel OZ manufactures, and it was engineered from the outset for one purpose: to give Kawasaki ZX-6R, ZX-636 and ZX-6RR riders a measurable advantage on track. Forged from high-grade magnesium and shaped by OZ's SBK Racing division, this six-spoke wheel slashes rotating mass and transforms the way your 600 responds to every input.
Key Features
- Forged magnesium construction — the lightest material OZ uses for wheels, dramatically reducing unsprung and rotating mass for sharper turn-in and faster acceleration out of corners.
- Six-spoke Cattiva design developed directly by the OZ SBK Racing department, balancing torsional rigidity with the weight savings that matter on circuit.
- Improved handling responsiveness at high speed and through fast, technical corners where reduced gyroscopic inertia makes a tangible difference.
- Made in Italy to OZ's exacting production standards, ensuring the consistency and durability that professional racing teams rely on.
- Supplied complete with quality bearings, aluminium valve stems and spacers (fitted only where required), so the wheel arrives ready to build up.
- Dedicated sprocket carrier included — note that the original Kawasaki rear sprocket is not compatible and a replacement carrier-specific sprocket must be used.
Purpose-Built for the Track
Every aspect of the Cattiva's geometry was resolved around the demands of Superbike and Supersport racing. The spoke profile maximises stiffness where load paths are highest during braking and drive, while mass is removed everywhere the race regulations — and physics — allow. The result is a wheel that helps the ZX-6R/636/RR feel more planted under braking, more willing to pivot mid-corner and more responsive the moment you open the throttle on exit. This is a track-exclusive component and is not designed or approved for road use.
Fitment and Compatibility
This rear wheel is developed specifically for the following models:
- Kawasaki ZX-6R — 2007 to 2026
- Kawasaki ZX-636 — 2007 to 2026
- Kawasaki ZX-6RR — 2007 to 2026
The original Kawasaki rear sprocket does not fit the included sprocket carrier. A compatible aftermarket or carrier-specific rear sprocket must be sourced separately.
