Design, Finish and Heritage
The Cattiva name carries genuine racing pedigree. OZ's SBK Racing department did not begin with aesthetics — they began with performance targets, and the six-spoke layout emerged as the optimal balance between material removal and load distribution. The result is a wheel that looks as purposeful as it performs: clean, uncluttered spokes in a finish that commands attention in the pit lane and holds its appearance under the heat and stress of circuit use.
Available in gloss black, matte black and gold, each finish is applied to the same forged magnesium structure. The gold variant echoes OZ's historic Superbike liveries; the gloss black offers a timeless, premium look; and the matte black prioritises understated aggression. Whichever finish suits the build, the underlying engineering is identical — uncompromised track performance from the wheel that sits at the top of the OZ range.
Performance on Track
Reducing unsprung and rotational mass at the front axle has a disproportionate effect on how a motorcycle steers. Less rotating inertia means the S1000RR responds more immediately to rider input — the bike changes direction more willingly, holds its line with less effort and communicates the front tyre's state more clearly through the fork. At the speeds the K67 is capable of, that margin of precision is the difference between a clean lap and a compromised one.
The Cattiva is exclusively optimised for track use and is not intended for road registration. Fitting this wheel to the S1000RR K67 with M Package unlocks the full potential the chassis was designed to express.
