DescriptionThe whole story▼
Engineered exclusively for track and racing use, the OZ Cattiva magnesium front wheel is the lightest wheel in the entire OZ range — built from premium forged magnesium by OZ's own SBK Racing division to extract every last advantage from your BMW S1000RR K46. The six-spoke Cattiva design slashes rotational mass, delivering sharper turn-in, faster steering response and a measurable improvement in lap-time precision that no aluminium wheel can match.
Key Features
- Forged magnesium construction — the lightest front wheel OZ produces, reducing unsprung and rotational mass for transformed track dynamics
- Six-spoke Cattiva design developed directly by the OZ SBK Racing department, balancing maximum stiffness with minimal weight penalty
- Reduced rotational inertia means quicker acceleration, stronger braking stability and more precise cornering at high speed
- Exclusive fitment for BMW S1000RR K46 models equipped with HP forged wheels — a direct, precision fit with no compromise
- Made in Italy to OZ Racing's exacting manufacturing standards for race-proven reliability
- Supplied complete with quality bearings, aluminium angled valves and spacers where required
Track Performance
The Cattiva wheel was not adapted from a road product — it was conceived from the outset for the demands of circuit riding. Forged magnesium offers a superior strength-to-weight ratio compared to cast or even forged aluminium, and OZ's SBK Racing engineers have refined the six-spoke geometry to deliver outstanding lateral rigidity under hard braking and mid-corner loads. The result is a front end that communicates clearly, resists flex under race conditions and allows you to carry more corner speed with greater confidence.
Build Quality & Finish
Every Cattiva wheel is produced at OZ's Italian facility using aerospace-grade forging processes. The finish options — gloss black, matte black and gold — are applied to the same exacting standard as OZ's World Superbike components. Each wheel leaves the factory individually inspected to ensure the dimensional accuracy and balance that race use demands.
Fitment & Compatibility
This wheel is designed exclusively for the BMW S1000RR K46 produced between 2009 and 2018. It is compatible only with machines originally equipped with HP forged wheels and is recommended for track and racing use only. If you are unsure whether your S1000RR carries the HP forged wheel specification, please verify before ordering.
