What It Is
The published figures are 14.1 mm, 30 mm, 15 mm. Measure the old part against them before ordering. Sealing washers are consumables — they take their shape on first assembly and do not seal twice. Öhlins lists these individually because a service usually needs a handful of them. A washer of the wrong thickness quietly changes preload on whatever it sits against.
Why the Original
Öhlins supports its suspension with individual service parts, which is why a fifteen-year-old damper can still be rebuilt to specification. Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. The exploded drawing for your unit names the number; if you do not have it, we do. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson.
Getting the Number Right
05190-02 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. Check dimension a 14.1 mm, dimension b 30 mm, dimension c 15 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Ordering the small parts with the seal kit saves the second delivery that most rebuilds otherwise need. Thread size and length identify the fastener; substituting a hardware-store equivalent is not sensible in a pressurised damper.
Fitting and Setup Service
Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.
