DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Öhlins FCX 2304 exists because the Husqvarna FE 450 (2024–2026) needed its own settings, not a shared set. Standard cartridges are often damped in one direction and barely in the other.
Key Features

- Model-specific fitment for the Husqvarna FE 450 (2024–2026) — no modification required
Damping and Adjustment
Damper stroke comes to 298 mm on this number. Damping was developed with 1330 in the unit. Öhlins builds it to 940 mm between the eyes for this chassis. The kit is re-valvable, so a suspension technician can go beyond the click range if needed. Setting front-end support under braking no longer means also changing how quickly the fork returns.
Construction and Material Quality
Öhlins sets a baseline for each part number on the machine it was developed on, so it works before anything is adjusted. Everything in the kit is serviceable with standard Öhlins parts. Every Öhlins dealer can re-valve the unit, because the shim stack is a documented, serviceable assembly.
About the TTX 22 Range
Öhlins supplies springs matched to the machine with most TTX 22 numbers. The TTX 22 answers that with separated compression and rebound circuits inside the fork leg, so damping stays consistent as the oil heats and the hits keep coming. Braking bumps and rutted corner entries are where a standard cartridge packs down and this one does not.
What This Means on the FE 450
The 2024–2026 generation kept the same chassis dimensions throughout, so one Öhlins number serves the whole run. Enduro machines spend hours at low speed over roots and rock before the first fast section arrives, and the suspension has to be plush there without collapsing later. At 450 cc the FE 450 makes enough torque to load the rear hard on corner exit, and the damper has to keep the wheel in contact while that happens.
Fitment and Compatibility
This listing covers Öhlins part number FCX 2304 for the Husqvarna FE 450, 2024–2026. Öhlins lists no other machine against this number, so it is not a unit that can be adapted to a neighbouring model. Öhlins notes for this application: Spring series 08765-XX. *Replaces FCX 1304*
