DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Husqvarna FE 250 of 2024–2026 has its own Öhlins part number, and this is it: FCX 2304. Fork internals are where manufacturers save money, because nobody sees them.
Key Features
- Model-specific fitment for the Husqvarna FE 250 (2024–2026) — no modification required
- 298 mm working stroke
About the TTX 22 Range
Motocross and enduro forks take more abuse in an hour than a road fork takes in a season. The cartridge fits inside the standard fork legs; the outer tubes and clamps stay on the bike. Adjusters are at the fork tops and marked in clicks.
How Öhlins Builds It
Every Öhlins dealer can re-valve the unit, because the shim stack is a documented, serviceable assembly. Springs come with the kit and are catalogue items in their own right if a different rate is needed. Everything in the kit is serviceable with standard Öhlins parts.
Fitted to the FE 250
This part number spans model years 2024 to 2026; earlier and later generations take different numbers. An enduro bike is ridden slowly far more often than quickly, and the damping that matters most is the damping at low shaft speed. At 250 cc the FE 250 makes enough torque to load the rear hard on corner exit, and the damper has to keep the wheel in contact while that happens.
Damping and Adjustment
298 mm of stroke is what the FE 250's linkage allows, and the shim stack is set for exactly that. Installed length comes to 940 mm. Damping was developed with 1330 in the unit. Setting front-end support under braking no longer means also changing how quickly the fork returns. Each fork leg takes one function, so each adjuster has a single, clear effect.
Fitment and Compatibility
Part number FCX 2304 and the Husqvarna FE 250 (2024–2026) belong together; other model years take other numbers. It is model-specific rather than universal: length, stroke and valving are all set for this chassis. Öhlins notes for this application: Spring series 08765-XX. *Replaces FCX 1304*
Road Approval
Road approval: not documented by Öhlins for the Husqvarna FE 250. We do not state an approval we cannot evidence — please confirm the current status with us before ordering if you intend to use the motorcycle on public roads.
