DescriptionThe whole story▼
Spring adjuster 34/M52x1.5/106, Öhlins part number 24651-05. Needle and seat together meter the bleed flow; damage to either changes the whole adjustment range.

- Dimension B 106 mm
- Original Öhlins service part
- Thread M52x1.5
- Dimension A 1.5 mm
Function
At 1.5 mm, 106 mm it fits one position only; the next size up carries a different number. An adjuster that turns without resistance has lost its detent; the setting is then guesswork. Öhlins specifies a defined number of clicks per adjuster so a setting is a number, not an impression. The adjuster knob is what the rider touches, and Öhlins colour-codes it by function.
Genuine Service Part
Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. Öhlins numbers every position so a workshop can order precisely what it needs, not a whole assembly. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up. Where a number has been superseded, Öhlins states the replacement — we pass that on.
Identifying the Right Part
24651-05 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. Öhlins states dimension a 1.5 mm, dimension b 106 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Öhlins specifies a defined number of clicks per adjuster so a setting is a number, not an impression. The needle tip is the wear part: once rounded, the first few clicks stop doing anything.
Fitting and Setup Service
Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.
