Function
At 6 mm, 8 mm, 8.3 mm it fits one position only; the next size up carries a different number. Öhlins uses PTFE-coated bushings for a low breakaway force. A bushing is a consumable and is replaced at rebuild rather than reused. Bushings carry the side load in a damper or fork and keep the moving parts concentric.
