What It Is
12 mm, 32 mm, 0.15 mm: that is the whole specification, and it has to match what came out. Revalving means changing the stack, not the piston — that is why shims are sold singly. Outer diameter sets the lever the oil works against, and thickness sets the resistance. A worn or bent shim shows up as damping that has quietly drifted from the setting sheet.

How to Be Sure It Fits
Order under 01115-32. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. The published dimensions are inner diameter 12 mm, outer diameter 32 mm, thickness 0.15 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. A shim is a thin steel washer, and a stack of them is what actually generates damping in an Öhlins unit — the oil has to bend them out of the way to pass. Shim thickness is measured in hundredths of a millimetre because that is the resolution at which damping force changes.
