DescriptionThe whole story▼
For the Beta RR 4T 390 Racing built 2019–2025, Öhlins specifies FFX 1302. Öhlins supplies this as one assembly, tested as one assembly.
Key Features
- Damper stroke 301 mm
- Öhlins spring 08765-43 included
- Listed by Öhlins for the Beta RR 4T 390 Racing (2019–2025) and no other machine
About the RXF 48 S Range
Air forks need a pressure check before every ride, and the RXF 48 S removes that step entirely. The assembly drops into the standard triple clamps on the models it is listed for. Compression and rebound are adjusted separately at the fork tops, in clicks rather than by feel.
Front-End Performance
With 301 mm of stroke the damping curve has to do its work in a short distance. Fill specification is 1330, which is part of the setting rather than a detail. The 940 mm length is dictated by the RR 4T 390 Racing's own geometry. Öhlins supplies spring 08765-43 with this unit. Compression and rebound adjusters sit at the fork tops and work independently. Settings are marked in clicks from fully closed, so they can be recorded.
What This Means on the RR 4T 390 Racing
On a supersport machine, front-end feel under braking is what the rider trusts, and damping is what provides it. The 2019–2025 generation kept the same chassis dimensions throughout, so one Öhlins number serves the whole run. A 390 cc machine of this type sits in a specific weight band, and Öhlins picks the spring rate for that band rather than for the platform.
Materials and Manufacture
Seals are specified for temperature stability rather than for the lowest unit cost. Machining, anodising, assembly and testing all happen in the same building rather than across a supply chain. Öhlins sets a baseline for each part number on the machine it was developed on, so it works before anything is adjusted.
Fitment and Compatibility
Öhlins releases FFX 1302 against the Beta RR 4T 390 Racing (2019–2025). Öhlins releases the same number for 4 closely related machines; this listing is the Beta RR 4T 390 Racing version of that fitment. Öhlins notes for this application: 08765- spring series * Replaces FFX 0302*
