DescriptionThe whole story▼
Öhlins lists part number FFX 2302 for one machine: the Beta RR 2T 250 built 2019–2024. A fork that dives unevenly under braking makes the RR 2T 250 feel vague long before grip runs out.
Key Features
- Fitted spring: Öhlins 08765-43
- 301 mm of damper stroke
- Listed by Öhlins for the Beta RR 2T 250 (2019–2024) and no other machine
Front-End Performance
Stroke is 301 mm, which is the travel Öhlins has to work with on this linkage. Damping was developed with 1330 in the unit. Eye-to-eye length is 940 mm, fixed for this application. The spring carries Öhlins number 08765-43 and can be exchanged for a different rate without replacing the damper. Each function has its own adjuster, which is what allows one change to be judged honestly. Compression and rebound adjusters sit at the fork tops and work independently.
The RXF 48 S in Detail
Öhlins supplies the RXF 48 S with springs matched to the machine, and alternative rates are catalogue items. The coil holds its rate as the fork heats and needs no pressure check between motos. The S in RXF 48 S stands for the spring conversion: a coil spring replaces the air chamber the standard fork uses.
How Öhlins Builds It
The two legs are built as a matched pair and tested as one assembly. Tube diameter, offset and axle clamp are all specified per model so the assembly drops into the standard yokes. Production has stayed in Sweden since the company was founded in 1976.
Fitted to the RR 2T 250
Öhlins covers the 6-year production run of this generation with a single part number, which means the mounting and the linkage stayed unchanged across it. Supersport chassis are stiff and short, which leaves the suspension doing almost all the compliance work. The 250 cc engine sets how quickly weight transfers, and damping has to be matched to that rather than to a class average.
Fitment and Compatibility
Part number FFX 2302 and the Beta RR 2T 250 (2019–2024) belong together; other model years take other numbers. The number is shared with 6 sibling models that use the same mounting and settings, and this listing covers the Beta RR 2T 250. Öhlins notes for this application: 08765- spring series *Replaces FFX 1302*
Road Approval
Road approval: not documented by Öhlins for the Beta RR 2T 250. We do not state an approval we cannot evidence — please confirm the current status with us before ordering if you intend to use the motorcycle on public roads.
Fitting and Setup Service
Öhlins suspension rewards careful fitting. We recommend having the work done by an authorised Öhlins service centre — and we are one ourselves: we fit, service and set up Öhlins components in house. If you would like us to handle the installation, just ask and we will quote it with the order.
