DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Öhlins FKR 128 Cartridge Kit Racing brings TTX 25 technology to the Honda CBR 600 RR PC69, giving riders from club-day regulars to seasoned circuit competitors a front-end upgrade that is as straightforward to maintain as it is effective on track. With a pressurised closed system that eliminates pressure drop and delivers linear, consistent damping lap after lap, it is one of the most practical race-grade fork conversions available for the PC69 generation.
Key Features
- TTX 25 twin-tube technology paired with a newly developed piston and 8 mm piston rod for fast, precise response and linear damping characteristics
- Pressurised closed system prevents pressure drop, ensuring consistent performance across every session without recalibration
- 120 mm of stroke tuned specifically to the CBR 600 RR PC69 chassis geometry
- Three springs included in the 04744 series (9.5, 10.0 and 10.5 N/mm) giving immediate setup flexibility without additional cost
- Maintenance-friendly design reduces workshop time between rounds, making it an accessible choice for riders on a tighter schedule
- Installation guide included; authorised Öhlins Service Centre fitting recommended for best results
Performance and Build Quality
Öhlins engineered the FKR 128 as a direct cartridge replacement, meaning the complexity of a full fork swap is avoided while the gain in front-end feel is substantial. The TTX 25 system controls compression and rebound independently with a level of damping linearity that budget cartridge kits simply cannot match. The result is improved traction under braking and through corner entry — exactly the areas where lap times are won or lost on technical circuits. The included spring range lets riders dial in preload and rate to suit their weight, riding style and track surface before spending anything extra.
Fitment and Compatibility
The Öhlins FKR 128 is developed exclusively for the Honda CBR 600 RR PC69 produced from 2021 to 2026. It is a motorsport product and is not approved for use on public roads.
