DescriptionThe whole story▼
Engineered exclusively for the Triumph Daytona Moto2 765 from 2020 onwards, the Öhlins FKR Cartridge Kit Racing TTX 25 (FKR 120) delivers the kind of repeatable, fade-free fork performance that makes a real difference lap after lap. Whether you are chasing your first track day PB or setting up for a club race, this cartridge kit gives you a calibration-grade baseline that is straightforward to work with and built to last a full season of hard use.
Key Features
- TTX technology with a newly developed piston and 8 mm piston rod reduces internal pressure for fast, consistent response from the first corner of the day to the last.
- Spring-pressurised closed system eliminates pressure loss, ensuring the damping characteristic stays linear and predictable regardless of how hard the fork is working.
- Service-friendly design means rebuilds and fluid changes can be completed efficiently at the circuit, minimising downtime between sessions.
- Three springs included in the 04744 series — 9.0, 9.5 and 10.0 N/mm — so you can dial in the correct spring rate for your weight and riding style straight out of the box.
- Linear damping characteristic enables precise, incremental tuning of both compression and rebound, translating directly into improved traction and stability under braking and through fast changes of direction.
- Direct compatibility with the Öhlins fork FL 965 makes fitment straightforward with no adaptation required.
Performance & Build Quality
The FKR 120 replaces the standard fork internals with a race-proven cartridge architecture refined across Öhlins' decades of top-level motorsport involvement. The reduced internal pressure achieved through the TTX piston geometry is not simply a comfort measure — it prevents cavitation during rapid suspension cycling, which is exactly the kind of condition a supersport motorcycle encounters under heavy braking into a slow corner or over a rough kerb. The result is a fork that tracks the road surface faithfully rather than skating over it, giving the front tyre the consistent load it needs to generate grip.
The spring-pressurised closed system removes the bleed points and pressure differentials that cause conventional cartridges to perform inconsistently as oil temperature rises. This is particularly valuable during long stint testing or endurance-format events, where repeatable data is essential for meaningful setup changes.
Fitment & Compatibility
The Öhlins FKR 120 cartridge kit is designed specifically for the following application:
- Triumph Daytona Moto2 765 (2020 onwards)
- Compatible fork: Öhlins FL 965
This is a motorsport product intended exclusively for closed-circuit competition use. It is not approved or homologated for use on public roads. Installation should be carried out by an authorised Öhlins Service Centre for optimum results; a fitting instruction is included in the box.
Fitting and Setup Service
Öhlins recommends that its suspension is fitted by an authorised service centre. We are one, and we do the work here: installation, servicing and a proper setup. Ask us and we will include it with the order.
