DescriptionThe whole story▼
Engineered exclusively for the Ducati Panigale V2 955 from 2020 to 2024, the Öhlins FKR Cartridge Kit Racing TTX 25 (FKR 115) brings genuine race-derived suspension technology to riders who demand consistent, tunable performance without the compromises of a standard gas-pressure system. Whether you are chasing lap times or simply want a fork that responds predictably every session, this kit delivers the foundation to make it happen.
Key Features
- Spring-pressurised closed system eliminates the risk of pressure loss associated with conventional gas-pressure cartridges, keeping performance consistent lap after lap.
- TTX technology paired with a newly developed piston and 8 mm piston rod reduces internal pressure and delivers a faster, more precise initial response from the fork.
- Linear damping characteristic opens a wide range of tuning possibilities, allowing finer adjustments to suit track conditions, rider weight and riding style.
- Three springs included from the 04744 series — 9.5, 10.0 and 10.5 N/mm — so you can dial in the correct spring rate at the circuit without additional cost.
- 120 mm stroke matched exactly to the Panigale V2 955 chassis geometry for a direct, no-compromise fit.
- Installation guide supplied as standard; fitting by an authorised Öhlins Service Centre is recommended for optimal results.
Performance and Build Quality
The TTX cartridge design is the same platform Öhlins supplies to World Superbike and MotoGP teams, adapted here into a bolt-in kit for the street-derived Panigale V2 955. By replacing the stock fork internals with a spring-pressurised closed circuit, the FKR 115 removes the cavitation risk that can cause a gas-pressure unit to fade under repeated, hard braking. The result is a fork that feels the same on lap one as it does on lap twenty — a genuine everyday advantage if you ride track days regularly and want reliability you can count on every time you go out.
The 8 mm piston rod increases stiffness in the damping circuit, reducing unwanted flex and improving the accuracy of your compression and rebound adjustments. Combined with the linear damping curve, even small clicks of adjustment translate into a clearly noticeable change at the front end, making it straightforward to home in on a setup that suits you without needing to make large, disruptive changes between sessions.
Fitment and Compatibility
The Öhlins FKR 115 is designed and approved for race use only on the following motorcycle:
- Ducati Panigale V2 955 — model years 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024
This kit is intended strictly for motorsport / track use and is not approved for road registration. Installation by an authorised Öhlins Service Centre is strongly recommended.
Fitting and Setup Service
Öhlins components deliver what they promise once they are fitted and set up properly. As an authorised Öhlins service centre we do exactly that in house — installation, service and setup. Simply ask if you would like us to take care of it.
