What It Is
Öhlins gives it as 53 mm, 58 mm; nothing about that is approximate. Aluminium tubes are hard-anodised in the bore so the piston band has a hard surface to run against. Twin-tube dampers carry two concentric tubes and list them separately. Öhlins gives the tube its diameter and its working length as a pair — a tube of the same bore but different length belongs to a different unit.

Getting the Number Right
Order under 06152-03. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Check diameter 53 mm, length 58 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. The cylinder tube is the working bore: the piston runs inside it and every damping force is reacted by its wall. The tube also carries the end cap threads, so thread damage means a new tube.
