Bushing 46/50/24, Öhlins part number 02373-01. Guide bushings set the internal alignment of a cartridge.
Key Features
- Original Öhlins service part
- Outer Diameter 50 mm
- Length 24 mm
- Inner Diameter 46 mm
- Öhlins part number 02373-01
What It Is
Dimensionally this is 46 mm, 50 mm, 24 mm, which is how it is told apart from the rest of the range. A bushing is a consumable and is replaced at rebuild rather than reused. Sleeves position parts axially and often set the preload on a stack. Play at a bushing lets the shaft run off centre and the seal wears unevenly.
Genuine Service Part
This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. Where a number has been superseded, Öhlins states the replacement — we pass that on. Service parts are supplied per piece unless the description says otherwise.
Getting the Number Right
Öhlins identifies this position by the number 02373-01 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. inner diameter 46 mm, outer diameter 50 mm, length 24 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Öhlins uses low-friction coated bushings so the unit breaks away smoothly rather than sticking. Both diameters and the length are specification, not approximation.
Fitting and Setup Service
A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.
