- Dimension A 62.1 mm
- Dimension B 4.3 mm
- Öhlins part number 03566-37
Function
This one measures 62.1 mm, 4.3 mm, and those figures are what separate it from the neighbouring numbers. Click adjusters work through a needle in a seat; the detent spring gives the clicks their feel. Its length matches the shaft it runs in, which is why the numbers are paired. Öhlins builds click adjusters with defined detents so a setting can be written down and returned to.
Why the Original
Buying the individual part rather than a complete assembly is what makes servicing an Öhlins unit worthwhile. Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order.
How to Be Sure It Fits
Order under 03566-37. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. dimension a 62.1 mm, dimension b 4.3 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Its length matches the shaft it runs in, which is why the numbers are paired. Click adjusters work through a needle in a seat; the detent spring gives the clicks their feel.
Fitting and Setup Service
Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.
