The front visor of the Nexx Y.10 turns on two pivot points, one on each side of the shell. Each pivot is made of a base plate on the helmet, a round cover with the visor fixing on top and a screw that holds everything together. This listing is the genuine Nexx fixing kit for these pivots in the version with the chrome-ringed covers, the look you see on the Y.10 Midtown and Sunny helmets.
What the product photo shows
The Nexx photo of this kit shows two identical sets, one per side. Each consists of a round black cover with concentric chrome rings, a black base plate with locating lugs and a countersunk screw. Nexx sells a second Y.10 visor fixing kit with plain black caps for the Y.10 Plain; if your helmet has smooth black covers at the visor pivot, that version is the right one.
When the kit is needed

Changing the visor and pivot
According to the Y.10 manual, the visor is removed by taking off the cover, unscrewing on both sides and pulling the visor off from both sides. When refitting, the visor is snapped into place on both sides and then positioned and screwed down, with the marking pointing to the top. Tighten the screws evenly on both sides so the visor runs straight and stays where you put it.
Care
The Nexx manual recommends cleaning visors only with soapy water and a soft cloth. A drop of silicone oil on the pivot from time to time keeps the movement smooth, and any excess should be wiped away with a clean cloth.
Compatibility
This kit is listed for the Nexx Y.10. It is the variant with chrome-ringed covers; which Y.10 decors are delivered with this look can be seen at the visor pivot of your own helmet. It does not fit the Y.100, Y.100R or Y.TRAVL, which use the X-SWIFT visor mechanism.
