DescriptionThe whole story▼
A crash that snaps a brake line fitting on a Yamaha YZF-R6, built from 2017 onward, does not always mean the braided hose itself is ruined, and replacing the whole RBS Racing Brake System when only the manifold has failed is money a team does not need to spend. Melotti Racing sells the RBS.YA.3150 manifold on its own for exactly that repair.
Key Features
- RBS brake manifold for the Yamaha YZF-R6, 2017 onward
- Melotti part RBS.YA.3150, built to FIM regulations, usable in Stock classes
- Direct pressure sensor mounting, no extra hose added
- Extra bleed point for faster bleeding
- Extremely compact, fits without modification
- Blind-hole, I2M or M10x1 sensor thread options
- Stainless steel construction
Construction and Material Quality
The RBS.YA.3150 is machined in stainless steel as the standalone manifold from Melotti's RBS Racing Brake System, available with a blind pre-bore or already threaded for an I2M or M10x1 pressure sensor. It mounts the sensor directly into the manifold body, avoiding the extra hose length a bolt-on adapter would need, and includes its own bleed point to speed up a job that is otherwise limited by the caliper's own bleed screw. Pump and caliper mounting screws are not included, since the originals are reused.
Replacing Only What a Crash Actually Broke
When a YZF-R6 goes down hard enough to damage the brake line fitting but the braided hose itself survives intact, a full system replacement wastes a hose that still has useful life left in it. Melotti's manifold-only option lets a team rebuild just the damaged part, carrying the existing hose over and reusing the pump and caliper screws exactly as before, rather than treating a crash repair as an excuse to buy the complete kit again. The same ABS removal and steering-damper limits that apply to the full RBS system still apply here, since the manifold's underlying design has not changed.
Fitment and Compatibility
Melotti lists the RBS.YA.3150 for the Yamaha YZF-R6 from 2017 onward, matching our listing, and the identical manifold is also catalogued for the Yamaha YZF-R1 from 2015. Specify the sensor thread, blind-hole, I2M or M10x1, at order, and confirm your existing hose is in good condition before reusing it with a replacement manifold.
Road Approval
No ABE exists for the RBS.YA.3150. The ABS removal it requires means the bike is not road-registrable, so it is supplied for racetrack and closed-circuit use only.
Scope of Delivery
One RBS.YA.3150 brake manifold, in the sensor thread specified at order, for the Yamaha YZF-R6.
