DescriptionThe whole story▼
There is nothing cosmetic between a Brutale 675 and the ground. The ARMV102 fits front and rear on the Brutale 675, built from an elastic nylon body and an Ergal insert. It is offered in 2 colours: Black, Red. Fitted to the Brutale 675 it uses the mounting points the bike already has, so nothing is drilled.
Key Features
- LighTech part number ARMV102, catalogued for the MV Agusta Brutale 675
- The ARMV102 costs less than the smallest part it defends on a Brutale 675
- The ARMV102 adds 460 g to a Brutale 675 and changes nothing about how it steers
- Covers the Brutale 675 across 6 model years (2012 to 2017)
- The coloured inner part of the ARMV102 is sold separately in pairs for custom combinations
- Anodised to LighTech's standard finish across the whole ARMV102
- Weight kept low where the ARMV102 hangs furthest from the Brutale 675 frame
Materials and Construction
The outer body of the ARMV102 is nylon, chosen for elasticity rather than hardness. An Ergal core gives the ARMV102 its structure while the nylon gives it its give. Because the insert is a separate item, a scuffed ARMV102 is rebuilt rather than replaced.
The Idea Behind It
The geometry is the whole argument: the ARMV102 ends further outboard than the fork bottom. LighTech's answer on the ARMV102 is a two-material build: nylon that flexes, Ergal that holds. The coloured insert is sold in pairs, so a damaged Brutale 675 is back to standard for small money.
Compatibility and Installation
The ARMV102 is catalogued by LighTech for the MV Agusta Brutale 675 and nothing else in this listing. Nothing on the Brutale 675 has to be cut; the kit bolts to what is there.
What Is in the Box
The ARMV102 kit is sold complete; the coloured inserts are the only item also listed separately. The packaging lists the ARMV102 reference, so a second order for the same Brutale 675 is unambiguous.
Fitting
Installation on the Brutale 675 uses the hardware supplied in the ARMV102 box. Re-check the fastener torque after the first ride, as with any part that hangs off the Brutale 675 frame. Black, Red: 2 finishes of the same ARMV102, identical in fit on the Brutale 675.
Type Approval
Nothing in the ARMV102 box constitutes a type approval, and we do not imply one. The decision on a road-legal Brutale 675 belongs to your inspection body. Settle that with your inspection body first. On track it is not an issue.
