DescriptionThe whole story▼
Without spools, a fork stand finds no clean purchase on a 790 DUKE. The SCV006 screws into the swing arm of the 790 DUKE and carries the stand. It is the least expensive item in the range. LighTech lists it for the 790 DUKE.
Key Features
- 100 % Made in Italy
- Covers the 790 DUKE across 9 model years (2018 to 2026)
- No approval paperwork is supplied — see the note below
- The swing arm of the 790 DUKE must have the mounting holes — check before ordering
- Gives a fork-type paddock stand a defined lifting point
- M10 thread, 1.50 mm pitch
Fitment
Fitment is the 790 DUKE across 2018 to 2026. A single-sided swing arm cannot take them at all. The data comes from LighTech; the final check happens on the motorcycle.
Why Spools
Lifting on the swing arm is what a fork stand is designed for. LighTech supplies the SCV006 as a pair, 54 g. Supplied as a pair, in 3 colours.
Material and Finish
One piece per side, thread and shoulder in the same part. 54 g is what LighTech lists for it. LighTech manufactures it in Italy.
Check Your Swing Arm First
The SCV006 does not fit every machine, and LighTech says so. Single-sided arms and arms without threads are both out. If the 790 DUKE has neither, a stand with side supports is the alternative.
Supplied As
One pair per order. The caps that close them are listed separately.
In the Workshop
Fitting the SCV006 is one bolt per side. Make sure nothing fouls the bodywork of the 790 DUKE before the first ride. Removal takes as long as fitting did.
Approval and Road Use
Nothing in the SCV006 box constitutes a type approval. Practice differs between regions, and the 790 DUKE is judged by the inspector in front of it. For a road-registered 790 DUKE, clarify it with your inspection body before fitting.
