DescriptionThe whole story▼
Running lights read as movement, which is what catches a driver's eye. The LighTech FRE925NER is a pair of sequential ABS LED indicators, E8 approved, 89 mm each. LighTech designs these arrows around its own tail tidies.
Key Features
- Supplied as a pair
- E8 type approval for the indicator pair
- ABS housing, 89 mm per indicator
- Black only
- May need a load resistor or an LED flasher relay — see the note below
- Sequential light pattern instead of a single flash
Being Seen
What sweeps is harder to ignore than what blinks. LighTech runs the LEDs of the FRE925NER in sequence rather than flashing them together. E8 covers the component; the installation is judged separately.
In the Workshop
The FRE925NER is wired like a conventional indicator. Use the original cable runs where you can; they are already clear of the wheel. Removal takes as long as fitting did.
What It Fits
LighTech lists the FRE925NER for the Kawasaki Ninja 250. Check what it will be mounted to before ordering. If in doubt, compare with the part on the bike rather than with the catalogue line.
Before You Order: Resistors
LED indicators bring one complication with them. LighTech states that some motorcycles need a specific relay or resistor. An LED draws too little current for a standard flasher on the Ninja 250, which then blinks at double speed. The resistor kits are listed separately — tell us your Ninja 250 and we will say whether one is needed.
Scope of Delivery
LighTech ships the FRE925NER as a pair, not singly. Two units with their fixings.
Type Approval
Unlike most of the LighTech range, the FRE925NER is a type-approved component: E8. An approved indicator in the wrong position is still a fault at inspection. Ask before you fit it to a registered Ninja 250 if the position is unconventional.
